Sculpture of two jumping dolphins on a round base entirely in chalcedony. Chalcedony is a type of opaque decorative glass obtained by adding and mixing silver salts and other oxides of dyes to imitate semi-precious stones such as agate and lapis lazuli. The first chalcedony glasses date back to 1460. Made by a few masters in Murano, each with their own secret formula. The piece was created and signed by Maestro Andrea Tagliapietra. Certificate of guarantee of work performed entirely by hand according to the ancient Murano techniques.
